About Tasneem:
My Journey
Growing up in a big city of Karachi in Pakistan, in an ambitious environment that had different expectations from me. I dreamed of traveling the world and fulfilling my big dreams. As a child, I would often stand in front of an imaginary classroom, teaching an audience without borders and empowering them to live to their fullest potential.
I saw myself connecting and inspiring people and sharing knowledge. To broaden my horizons, I would think of becoming an airline pilot. Instead, life took a different turn, but I knew one thing: I would find my way. That belief carried me far.
Several changes happened when I received the prestigious UK Commonwealth Scholarship for future leaders and I went to the University of Manchester. I connected with students and teachers from all over the world. Years followed with exciting new adventures, from living and working in Toronto, Canada to unexpectedly receiving a great job offer in Zurich, Switzerland.
From Pakistan to Canada to Switzerland, the world provided many opportunities to build strength and resilience. Each chapter shaped my belief that communities create growth and that the universe guides and supports us.
What began as a corporate career revealed a different aspect that shone a light on my calling: helping people and organizations connect, grow, and create meaningful impact. Because when you give and share, you create space for something greater. And, I had profound realization that true leadership is not about power. It’s about connection and empathy to get to ambitious results.
